Mandatory Invitation

Plunging into the underworld is rarely invitational, frequently it is a mandatory journey. A journey to harvest a piece of oneself. There are a variety of elements that condemn us to the darkness, most urgent among them is the need for life. Is it strange to seek counsel in the realm of Death to further ones own life?

It is in the dark fecund places of life that we can find the impetus and even steps to take to bring us further into the light of life. To use the oldest of analogies, a seed is planted in dark soil, buried away from the sun, given nothing but water and darkness to crack its shell and push towards its fruition of life.

We are not so different.
